How odd does that sound? Strangely, as a dyslexic, I’ve never had a problem with punctuation or grammar. Math was my downfall.  Having written a book, Fish Don’t Climb Trees and knowing how to work with my ‘gift of dyslexia’, I am now offering my services to dyslexics as a proof reader.  I have had plenty of practice in noticing my own mistakes !

The dyslexic way of thinking is creative, imaginative; we think outside the box.  Here are a few very fine examples of dyslexic authors: Agatha Christie, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Hans Christian Anderson, William Butler Yeats, JK Rowling.

Visit this page for a full list.

So if you feel drawn to write, whether a book, a play, poetry, blogs, technical information or grants and you know yourself to have challenges with grammar, spelling and punctuation, just get in touch.  I know the challenges from the inside and the solutions for the outside.

Proof reading covers:

  • Punctuation, capitalisation,
  • Grammar, verb agreements,
  • Spelling – American or British,

as distinct from editing which is not covered.

I look forward to hearing from you. It’s bound to be fun when like-minded people get together to create!

Let’s talk about your requirements; pricing $00.03 per word.
